Dropping a BMW X6 on a VOGTLAND Sport Springs
A proper stance for a sporty crossover.
The BMW X6 has been one of the most controversial and also successful designs to come from the German automaker. It doesn’t quite fit into any standard vehicle classifications either. It’s not an SUV, it’s not a two-door coupe, and it’s not exactly a crossover. It’s what BMW calls a Sport Activity Coupe.
Whatever it decided to go by in today’s automotive world, the BMW X6 is sporty and athletic for its size, outperforming many traditional SUVs and crossovers currently on the market. But, the German suspension specialists at VOGTLAND saw potential and decided the BMW X6 could be a bit lighter on its feet.
VOGTLAND installed a set of VOGTLAND sport springs on the BMW X6 to give the SAC an improved center of gravity and aggressive look due to its lower stance. The new VOGTLAND springs lowered the BMW by 40 mm (approx 1.57 inches). This effectively improved handling and grip for better performance and high speed stability.
The VOGTLAND performance lowering springs used on the BMW X6 can also be installed on vehicles with air suspension and auto-leveling systems. The springs are backed by the company’s rich history of spring making that dates back over 100 years. The springs not only make the BMW X6 a more dynamic performer, but also give it unmatched style.
